Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering (Wet Processing preferred) or related discipline.
For Manager:
6–8 years of experience in knit fabric dyeing operations or subcontract dyeing coordination.
For Sr. Manager:
8–12 years of relevant experience in knit fabric dyeing operations, vendor management, and production coordination.
Additional Requirements:
Strong experience in handling subcontract knit dyeing factories independently.
Experience in reputed knit textile/composite manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
Practical experience with export-oriented production environments and buyer compliance standards.
The Manager / Sr. Manager – Sub-Contract Knit Fabric Dyeing Coordination is responsible for leading and managing all outsourced knit fabric dyeing operations to ensure on-time delivery, approved shade accuracy, required fabric quality, production efficiency, and smooth coordination between internal departments and subcontract dyeing factories.
Lead and manage all subcontract knit fabric dyeing operations from greige fabric dispatch to final delivery.
Coordinate daily with subcontract dyeing factories regarding production planning, dyeing progress, finishing, compacting, and shipment schedules.
Ensure dyed fabrics meet approved standards for shade, GSM, shrinkage, spirality, hand feel, and buyer quality requirements.
Provide regular production, delivery, and operational status updates to the CPO.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Commercial, QA, Technical, and Production teams for smooth order execution.
Ensure timely approval of lab dips, bulk shades, and technical parameters.
Monitor subcontract factories to ensure compliance with company standards, buyer requirements, and delivery commitments.
Conduct regular factory visits to monitor production performance, quality standards, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency.
Handle critical production issues including shade variation, re-dye, reprocess, and delivery delays with effective corrective actions.
Monitor T&A (Time & Action) plans and ensure shipment deadlines are achieved.
Evaluate subcontract factory performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
Maintain proper documentation related to fabric movement, challans, gate passes, delivery records, and production reports.
Support cost optimization initiatives through effective production planning and wastage control.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with subcontract dyeing vendors and external stakeholders.
Lead urgent production follow-up and management escalation when necessary.
