Educational Requirements:
∎ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Animal Husbandry
∎ Graduate in Animal husbandry with a business degree would be an added advantage.
∎ Skills Required: Field Supervisor, Monitoring and Evaluation, Production, Project Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Farm Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Poultry Pathology, Production, Quality Controller/ Assurance, Veterinarian
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Farming, Poultry

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Finalize the existing design of the shonali chicken contact farming project plan doing the gap analysis.
∎ Listing and convincing probable farmers interested to do contact farming based on a very lucrative business case.
∎ Build, develop and improvise an appropriate farmer selection process.
∎ Manage the supervision of individual farmers farm management, right from land selection, shed building, DOC lifting, rearing with proper feeding and medication, maintaining proper biosecurity, utility and environmental management, realizing the sales procedure, and maintaining legal contracts.
∎ Establish bio-security management and brooding management of the farm by vaccination, medication and other measures for overall safety of birds.
∎ Develop and improvise proper procedures and SOPs and quality control mechanisms.
∎ Achieve financial goals and achieve FCR and other business growth targets.
∎ Forecast future needs of farming inputs.
∎ Build and lead an efficient and effective team to run and achieve the growth plan of the project.
∎ Carry out any assignment given by the management as and when required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Should have knowledge in MS Office, Word, E-mail & Internet Browsing.
