Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Management & Monitor Fabric development and Sourcing of Purchased Fabric.
∎ Strategic procurement of Fabric based on projection, demand, and market price.
∎ Supplier sourcing and selection of supplier
∎ Authorization of Development and Bulk PO's
∎ Setting priority and make sequence of Shipment schedule
∎ T & A Approval for bulk and development execution
∎ Validation of PI to open LC
∎ Validation of Invoice for fabric supplier payment
∎ Validation of Sea and Air Forwarder Payment
∎ Costing & buying price approval
∎ Quotation (in case of necessity) and approval of quotation of Purchased Fabric price
∎ Fix budget for Purchase fabric PO execution
∎ Price negotiation & confirmation
∎ Provide technical suggestions for trouble shooting of development and bulk execution
∎ Approval Cutting Sewing Defects from Fabric part
∎ Attend customer complain and communication with customer
∎ Focus on upcoming order to book supplier capacity
∎ Making decisions every crucial moment to make sure bulk fabric in house on time
∎ R&D for cost minimization and improve product excellence and performance to facilitate the new opportunity of business.
∎ Monitor inventory level and deduct the available inventory.
∎ Technical support to Merchandising Team to help to feedback customer
∎ Measure Suppliers' KPI
∎ Validate month wise T/T payment for Decathlon nominated supplier.
∎ Settlement all freight invoice payment for Forwarder (month wise).
∎ Validate courier Bill then submit to finance.
∎ Prepare supply chain cost report (Purchased Fabric).
∎ Team meeting for continuous improvement
∎ Report on time in-house goods % and submit to department head.
∎ Visit Textile Fair for Supplier Sourcing
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 32 years
∎ The candidate must have 10 to 15 years experiences on purchasing of fabrics for knit & lingerie products.
∎ The candidates must have enough technical knowledge on fabric manufacturing issues.
∎ Deep understanding and professional experience with Purchasing Contract.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Bengali.
∎ Excellent negotiation, customer service and consulting skills.
∎ Strong market knowledge on different types of Fabrics.
∎ Excellent negotiation and consulting skills.
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.
