Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage the sewing department to achieve production targets and quality standards.
∎ Plan and coordinate sewing schedules to meet production deadlines.
∎ Lead and mentor the sewing team, providing training and performance evaluations.
∎ Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of sewing machines and equipment.
∎ Implement quality control measures to ensure finished products meet company specifications.
∎ Collaborate with the design and production teams to address any issues related to sewing techniques or patterns.
∎ Monitor inventory levels of sewing supplies and materials, and manage procurement.
∎ Analyze and improve sewing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
∎ Maintain detailed records of production metrics and work in progress.
∎ Ensure a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
