Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provided guidance, support, and mentoring to a team of land freight professionals in the region in order to achieve operational excellence. Assist the local and overseas sales teams in developing competitive pricing strategies for land freight services while maintaining profitability.
∎ Coordinated, planned, and executed land transportation operations, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of shipments to meet customer requirements.
∎ Ensured compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards regarding land transportation both domestically and across borders by monitoring and managing the performance of carriers, vendors, and subcontractors in order to maintain high service levels and resolve operational issues.
∎ Ensure seamless end-to-end logistics solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including customs clearance, warehouse operations, and customer service. Provided management with regular reports on operational performance, key metrics, and achievements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Minimum 8 -10 years industry experience with at least 4 years in a Managerial position in the transportation or Logistics industry
∎ Rich Exposure to Operations, Network, Business development in similar industry
