Educational Requirements:
∎ Tertiary; Degree on garment technology (Preferable).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop specifications and method for new product.
∎ Develop sample according to brief sheet as assigned by buyers.
∎ Check the quality, and colour of the fabric and arrange fabric on time.
∎ Ensure correct use of trimming and accessories.
∎ Arrange pre-production sample to start production.
∎ Develop and maintain close relationships with other departments in the company.
∎ Ensures that safety, quality, maintain compliance issues are taken as part of the job.
∎ Any other task as assigned by the superior.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Supervise and direct activities of sample department to meet daily sample production target.
∎ Review the weekly sample production schedule and work out plan to determine staffing and other resources requirements to meet the deadlines.
∎ Monitor, control and utilisation of men, machine and material for optimum productivity.
∎ Inspect samples and methods throughout processing stages to maintain specified standards.
∎ Train supervisors and workers in operation of machinery and equipment.
∎ Conform all samples are being produced as per the buyers' given specification.
∎ Report on sample productivity, materials status to all concerns.
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Establish effective communication with other departments to ensure that the deadlines are met.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastage.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure sample room discipline, identify training needs and manage their career development.
Additional Requirements:

∎ Knowledge on sample development.
∎ Updated knowledge on pattern making and garments technology.
∎ People management skill.
∎ Experience on Casual and formal shirt.
