Job Context:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Manager for our R&D department, specializing in building materials. The ideal candidate will lead research initiatives to source new materials and improve existing materials, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the construction industry's evolving needs.

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in building materials, technologies, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new materials into product lines.
• Provide technical support and expertise to other departments as needed.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and compliance quality standards.
• Implement and maintain best practices for laboratory safety and environmental compliance.
• Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to stay abreast of new developments.
• Oversee the development of new building materials from concept through to commercialization.
• Conduct and supervise experiments, analyses, and tests to develop new materials or improve existing ones.
• Ensure all R&D is completed on time, within budget, and meets specified criteria.
