Product oriented with an attention to detail

• Conduct scheduled meetings with stakeholders in order to drive the company and customer expectations pertaining to all quality assurance activities.

• Ensure development/adherence to quality assurance processes and procedures by structuring the quality process.

• Assure the accuracy of product introduction with planned follow ups to ensure uninterrupted production.

• Drive the preparation of pre-production/top of production samples by monitoring the team and providing quality guidance to ensure the achievement of expected TOP Sample Hit Rate.

• Ensure the quality team effectively liaises with Front end teams and suppliers to ensure that quality standards are met from the initial stage of production.

• Strategically analyse by utilizing an engineering mindset, the quality outcomes of the plant for continuous improvement.

• Effectively liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure that complete quality assurance cover is provided from end to end in order to obtain a defect free product from subcontractors.

• Ensure the team’s knowledge and capabilities meet the customer expectations by following up on required training to bridge the skill gap and achieve the expected quality objectives.

• Ensure strict product safety is maintained along with compliance, health and safety procedures and 5S initiatives in place throughout the quality assurance function.

• Lead, direct and motivate the quality team, monitor / give feedback / conduct appraisals / improve team performance, develop team capabilities to meet current and future business requirements in order to obtain optimum team performance/ achievement of the departmental objectives.
