Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
In-depth knowledge of apparel quality standards and inspection procedures.
Effective communication and coordination skills with buyers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, quality reporting, and data analysis.
Responsibilities & Context:
The incumbent will be leading a team of quality assurance people.
Will have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage.
Will be responsible for all areas quality from production to Shipment.
Typically requires Dynamic, technical oriented persons with good communication skills Technical Knowledge & know how required
To establish, monitor and revise the product quality requirements & operations.
To determine the standard to be adopted by the company and to deploy it effectively by training, documentation and other appropriate means.
Establish quality procedures, work instructions, inspection criteria, and control plans.
Monitor incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
Support buyer quality audits, product assessments, and pre-shipment inspections.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects, reduce quality-related costs, and improve first-time-right performance.
Ensure products meet approved quality standards before final inspection and shipment release, within the assigned authority.
