Responsibilities & Context:
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System in line with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or industry-specific requirements).
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements across all operations.
Establish quality policies, procedures, manuals, and documentation to standardize processes.
Plan and conduct internal audits; coordinate external audits and certification processes.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) programs.
Train, mentor, and raise awareness among employees about QMS policies and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, supply chain, R&D, HR, etc.) to ensure quality integration into all business processes.
Ensure proper document control and records management as per QMS requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Report regularly to senior management or HOD on QMS performance, risks, and improvement plans.
Act as the key contact for certification bodies, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure effective supplier quality management and evaluate vendor compliance.
Oversee risk management, change management, and quality-related compliance projects.
