Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Factory (Gazipur-Kaliganj)
∎ Navana Engineering Limited (NEL) is one of the most advanced Plastics, uPVC Pipe & Fittings Manufacturing and Trading Company in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist line Manager in planning, managing and executing production operations.
∎ Develop or update standard operating procedures and best practices for production operations.
∎ Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of production equipment's to prevent equipment break-downs and malfunctioning.
∎ To ensure implementation of daily production plan as per forecasted demand.
∎ Optimize production operations to meet quality and performance standards.
∎ To prepare daily/weekly/monthly production report.
∎ Ensure quality of products (Weight, Thickness, Length, Print etc) as per specification or checklist.
∎ Machine wise right manpower utilization & performance evaluation.
∎ Ensure that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out the production processes.
∎ Ensure cost control, rejection/wastage control and Implement cost-optimization initiatives.
∎ Ensuring safety and security in functions of production floor and also ensuring compliance.
∎ Ensure safety measures are procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum experience of 10+ years of factory management in areas of manufacturing (plastic & pipe fittings/ polymer industries).
∎ Knowledge on modern production tools and techniques.
∎ Knowledge on Quality Assurances system.
∎ Well conversant with Oracle-ERP (EBS) software.
∎ Problem solving skills, time management, conflict management, leadership skill and reporting skill.
∎ Ability to plan and undertake multi-tasks effectively.
∎ Good presentation and facilitation skills.
∎ Must be a good strategic planner and implementer.
Salary: Negotiable
