Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Manager - Livelihoods will have overall management responsibility for the livelihoods interventions to meet the persistent needs and contribute to the improved survival, learning, safety, wellbeing, and resilience of Rohingya refugees and host community children and their families through multi-sectoral assistance and resilience-building.
∎ In this capacity S/he will directly oversee planning, implementation, and monitoring of livelihood activities and also support the CoP and coordinators of partner NGOs and fellow staff of Save the Children for successful implementation of activities.
∎ The Manager will manage the overall component budget and compile progress reports for submission to donor.
∎ S/he will also contribute actively to the implementation of project as well to support other sectoral areas and keep rapport with local government and community members.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience in field-based multi-disciplinary programming encompassing economic growth (livelihoods), emergency/refugee transition and/or market development approaches.
∎ Sound knowledge and experience of nutrition/health/food security programming/Child protection/ and its challenges
∎ Solid understanding on industry 'best practices' in livelihood and emergency preparedness
∎ Excellent written communications skills, including report writing
∎ Financial/budget management skills
∎ Proficiency in MS Office, especially in power point and excel
∎ Excellent representational skills
∎ Motivated, committed, responsible, able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
∎ Training/capacity building skills
