Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the lasting and assembly departments, ensuring timely and quality completion of production tasks.
∎ Manage the assembly line, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
∎ Train and supervise the lasting and assembly teams, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
∎ Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure finished products meet company standards.
∎ Coordinate with other departments, such as design, cutting, and sewing, to ensure seamless production.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to lasting and assembly processes or machinery.
∎ Optimize assembly processes to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
∎ Maintain accurate records of production outputs, material usage, and any production issues.
∎ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
∎ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to implement best practices in the lasting and assembly processes.
