Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit strategy and annual plan.
∎ Planning and conducting audits to assess controls, operational and technical efficiencies, and compliance with selected policies, procedures, and regulations.
∎ Supervising and monitoring the internal audit team and conducting internal audits as per the approved yearly audit plan.
∎ To discuss the audit findings with the concerned Head of the organization and ensure effective follow-up until resolution.
∎ To prepare and present accurate internal audit reports for consideration of the management.
∎ To review and judge the whole range of controls, including those relating to achieving value for money and preventing and detecting fraud and corruption.
∎ Conduct periodic internal audits and make recommendations to ensure the highest standard of financial management system.
∎ Verifying and cross-checking of all accounting transactions made to all internal and external stakeholders.
