Responsibilities & Context:
  • Strategy formation aligning with plant Industrial Engineering policy deployment in order to achieve plant KPIs effectively.

  • Develop and define department plans as per the plant strategic direction to align with current & future business requirement.

  • Minimize product risk by identifying and establishing best operations methods and engaging in PEC style engineering processes to improve productivity through optimization and standardization.

  • Lead and Guide Divisional Industrial Engineers whilst identifying and defining the required skills for future job roles of IE team & review and reward through periodic evaluations and develop action plans/IDPs to bridge the gap.

  • Conduct monthly IE Forums, present the IE departmental KPIs to management on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis at management meetings in order to communicate the progress thus far.

  • Ensure higher machine uptime through operation combination & Lego options to minimise machine number of machines & with higher utilization at NPI.

  • Ensure all IE style owners draw 100% dancing Best Cycle Yamazumi at PPA stage to improve potential of plant standard hour generation capacity & to improve ergonomics for TMs through dancing.

  • Facilitate GLs & TLs to solve bottle necks through Self Learning Platform by adhering to bottle neck SOP.

  • Establish and drive shop floor skill matrix application to improve productivity by upskilling TMs with TLs GLs.

  • Drive Training School process is aligned with MAS Intimates standard process to create multi skill TMs for manufacturing.

  • Ensure work cycle stitching and hourly work cycle rotation done at manufacturing modules to facilitate ergonomics & retaining TM skills.

  • Conduct cycle time reduction and workload balancing in operation areas to improve productivity with operational IE.

  • Engage in sharing of best practices across local and overseas facilities to ensure horizontal replication of Autonomation and engineering solutions at plants.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance, health and safety procedures during the entire physical/chemical testing processes to maintain zero accidents.

  • Establishing and implementing the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016 and GMP standards requirements within the scope of the responsibilities assigned under job related processes.
