Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Recruitment and Onboarding: Plan, coordinate, and execute the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and selection Oversee employee onboarding to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization.
∎ Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, implement, and update HR policies in alignment with labor laws and company objectives. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment regulations and standards like health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive workplace environment through open communication and fair conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws in all interactions.
∎ Performance Management: Design and implement performance appraisal systems to monitor and improve employee performance. Provide guidance to managers and employees on setting goals and career development plans.
∎ Training and Development: Identify employee training needs and coordinate professional development programs Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and performance.
∎ Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and other compensation programs. Conduct periodic benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable salary structures.
∎ Workforce planning and Retention: Forecast workforce needs and work with departmental heads/leadership to plan for future staffing. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee retention.
∎ Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management professionally. Implement grievance-handling mechanisms to address employee concerns effectively.
∎ HR Reporting and Analytics: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports for management. Use HR data to inform decisions and improve processes
∎ Employee Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports for management. Use HR data to inform decisions and improve processes.
∎ Security Management: Collaborate with the security team to ensure the safety and security of company plants, properties, depots, and other assets. Develop and enforce security protocols to mitigate risks and protect organizational resources
∎ Certificates and Licenses Management: Maintain and regularly update all organizational certificates, licenses, and statutory documents. Liaise with regulatory authorities to address compliance requirements and inspections. Monitor renewal deadlines and ensure timely submission to avoid lapses or penalties.
∎ Workplace Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities. Coordinate safety audits and employee safety training.
