This organization is helping the under-privileged people of Bangladesh by providing financial support, education, healthcare, capacity building training, women empowerment, entrepreneurship development, disaster response & climate change, market linkage etc. that enhance their lives & livelihoods. GUK is operating in 58 districts of Bangladesh by setting up 500 offices and deploying more than 5800 employees. GUK has taken a special initiative for prevention & control of needless and blindness of the mass people and therefore, the organization has established 3 modern well equipped eye hospitals in Dhaka, Bogura and Dinajpur for providing quality eye care service at affordable cost.

GUK is looking for Manager for the Eye Hospital.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall supervision and monitoring of GUK Eye Hospital.

• Supervise the daily activities of all staffs except the doctors (Medical Officers / Surgeons / Consultants).

• Supervise the day-to-day activities of technicians, nurses, counsellors, receptionists, medical record keepers, reactionists, ophthalmic assistants, staff working in medicine and optic corners, IOP, Vision in charge, ward boys, cleaners, guards, and others for smooth running of the hospital activities.

• Responsible for preparing indent of necessary equipment/materials as per need assessment and submit the same to the Director (Medical) and Admin Department of GUK for procurement in time.

• Responsible for keeping and updating of all records and documents including the hospital license in time.

• Prepare duty roaster of hospital staff like Nurse, Ward boy, Peon, Aya, Cleaner, Guard etc. for smooth running of hospital activities.

• Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly progress reports for onward submission to concerned authorities.

• Responsible for preparing business plan forecasting annual budget in consultation with doctor, general manager and GUK Eye Hospital management authorities and will be responsible to fulfil the targets as per plan of operation.

• Maintain co-operation with all doctors, general manager & staffs of the hospital for healthy working environment and will be responsible for maintaining liaison with govt. officials, donors, partners & other stakeholders for promotions of name & fame of hospital activities.

• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the concerned authorities.
