The manager is responsible for leading managerial and technical components of milk processing plant of American Dairy Limited (ADL). This position is responsible for leading the milk processing component of the program in conjunction with implementing collection milk from own parlor. The manager is expected to have the technical skills to identify barriers to enhanced high performance of quality dairy processing and identify appropriate interventions, and lead implementation of agreed-upon interventions. As noted, a significant proportion of the activity eg. Milk collection, processing, marketing and collaboration with BFSA and BSTI. The manager will have the technical and managerial skills to ensure well-directed and effective teamwork implementation along with correlated section, and be capable of providing leadership in terms of motivating and supporting the staff of ADL milk processing plant. In addition, ADL intends to collaborate with donor Partners to introduce long term vision to the area of milk value added products of Bangladesh. The manager will provide insight to the collaboration by identifying suitable technical opportunities for the value added dairy products development which is capable of providing inputs to the dairy wing as profitable manner. The manager will lead the provision of technical assistance to dairy businesses as professional manner. The manager will have experience in providing Monitoring and Evaluation, technical and appropriate reports to the top management of ADL. The manager will at all times represent the core values and best practices of ADL milk processing plant to our client, partners, beneficiaries, and staff.·        

• To provide technical guideline for sampling technique of milk for testing and Judging of milk

• To provide technical guideline for routine platform test: Organoleptic test, Temperature, COB test, Alcohol test, Sediment test and use of lactometer, determination of TS, Fat, SNF, Protein, Lactose, acidity and ash in milk, determination of freezing point, boiling point, specific gravity, Standardization, pasteurization, homogenization, sterilization and packing of milk.        

• To maintain, use and data preservation of lacto scan.        

• To provide technical guideline for detection of various adulteration of milk.        

• To provide technical guideline for testing microbial analysis of milk and milk products·        

• To provide technical guideline for preparation of Pasteurized milk, Skim milk, Butter, Ghee, Ice cream, cheese, yogurt and other value add dairy products.        

• To perform plant design and maintenance: Hygienic design concepts, layout for milk processing plants, qualities of dairy plant manager, maintenance of dairy plant-flooring and drainage lines, water supply, boiler house, CIP system and cleaning and sanitation of dairy waste disposal.        

• To perform safety and quality assurance training for staffs: Protocol of safety from production to consumers of dairy products, hazards analysis, Codex Alimentary Commission (CAC), HACCP for safety, ISO-14000, Packaging, Characteristics of packaging materials used in dairy industry.        

• To maintain close connection with BFSA and BSTI authority for license renewal and other related works·
