Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working Experience as a Fire & Safety Manager at Textile & Garments Division.
∎ To prepare a fire safety plan
∎ Ability to manage Fire safety equipment installation, checking & maintenance
∎ Candidate should have knowledge of fire hydrant system, fire drill & industrial evacuation plan when emergency
∎ Ensure fire safety for the workplace & building
∎ Daily fire equipment check & maintain needful action
∎ Knowledge on auto detection of fire
∎ Make evacuation plan for fire safety
∎ Conduct fire drill monthly
∎ Regular/ weekly fire training with fire safety team & general workers.
∎ Report to management in case of any risk
∎ Daily floor visit & ensure to Floor Compliance and follow up the Daily Compliance Check List given by the higher authority of the compliance department
∎ To ensure having personal safety equipment like a mask, metal gloves, eye guard, needle guard, pulley cover, goggles, earplug, gumboot, rubber apron, earplug for workers are working in machines & chemical stores
∎ Conduct the awareness program on rules and regulation, compliance & welfare issues, health, hygiene & safety; first aid, etc
∎ Ensure effective health, safety and security system
∎ Train personnel on Fire Fighting, use of Personal Protective Equipment on health & safety issues
∎ To arrange training such as Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, MSDS, Security Awareness training, etc. effectively
∎ To arrange all kinds of the meeting (Compliance Issue), make up to date the registers
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 07 years & above working experience in RMG sector as Fire & Safety Management.
∎ Excellent in communication
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
Salary: Negotiable
