Responsibilities & Context:

• Collect, analyze, and maintain financial and operational data to determine and control business costs, including materials, labor, and inventory.

• Record and review financial transactions in accounting systems, ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations, and proper documentation.

• Prepare periodic financial statements such as Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and other management reports.

• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including ledger reconciliation, collections follow-up, and vendor payment processing.

• Supervise payroll preparation, salary disbursement, and related documentation verification.

• Conduct cost analysis, variance analysis, and prepare project-wise costing and profitability reports to support pricing and decision-making.

• Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, depreciation schedules, and fixed asset records while monitoring capital expenditures.

• Ensure strong internal controls over inventory, expenses, revenue, and asset protection, including physical stock verification and documentation checks.

• Coordinate internal and external audits, banking reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare and present financial insights to management and collaborate with cross-functional teams while handling additional duties as assigned.
