Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor/Masters in Textile Engineering or BBA/MBA in Apparel Merchandising from a reputed university.

Marketing and merchandising, Merchandising and Production., Quality Management System, Sourcing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Buying House, Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct implementation, execution, and supervision of sourcing activities; sourcing and selecting potential factories to place the order; ensure sourcing activities are fully complied by the team members to achieve the cost-saving target.
∎ Provide support to the sourcing team for factory identification, qualification, negotiation, and selections.
∎ Audit and Access garment factory quality control system, and social compliance system in collaboration with Ethical & Environmental Sustainability Team.
∎ Follow up on audit corrective actions to set up standard QMS.
∎ Ability to provide price range targets to suppliers according to the established guidelines.
∎ Identify supplier's capabilities to support and react to quick response programs.
∎ Work on special projects as requested by management; support all levels of department management and may participate in specific workgroups as requested.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 5 years experience in Buying House.
∎ At least 2 years working experience in the managerial position in a reputed Buying office will be given preference.
∎ The candidate should have strong analytical, negotiation, contracting & communication skills and industry knowledge.
∎ Solid textile knowledge in both raw material and apparel production processes.
∎ Assess supplier qualification and performance with integrity.
∎ Familiar with garment production process and Quality control system.
∎ Having knowledge of ISO 9001, SA8000 would be a plus.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility and integrity with an independent personality.
∎ Team player and willing to travel on a frequent basis all around Bangladesh.
∎ Strong capacity for collaboration & communication with management and stakeholder.
∎ Ability to work independently and effectively in multifaceted situations.
∎ Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
