∎ Ability to negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times with suppliers.
∎ Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
∎ Proactive, organized, and able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Source and procure fabrics based on production requirements, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
∎ Keep track of fabric trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities to optimize sourcing strategies.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international fabric suppliers to secure the best quality materials at competitive prices.
∎ Work closely with the quality control team to ensure fabric compliance with buyer requirements and international standards.
∎ Handle price negotiations, lead times, and terms with suppliers while ensuring the best value for the company.
∎ Evaluate fabric weaves, compositions, finishes, and technical specifications to meet garment production needs.
∎ Coordinate with merchandising, production, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of fabric sourcing into the supply chain.
