Experience:
Master’s or PhD in Education, Educational Technology, Public Policy, or a related field with a focus on educational reform, technology in education, or development studies.
Experience Requirements:
At least 8 years of experience in the education sector, with a focus on policy development, education reform, or large-scale program management.
Extensive experience in the integration and evaluation of EdTech solutions, particularly in low-resource or developing country contexts.
Proven track record of working with government ministries, education policymakers, and multilateral development agencies in Bangladesh or similar contexts.
Experience managing or advising on large, multi-stakeholder education projects.

Strong media relations and networking skills.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, EdTech (Education Sector) to lead a critical EdTech project aimed at enhancing the decision-making capabilities of national and subnational education authorities in Bangladesh. This project focuses on enabling government stakeholders to effectively assess and adopt the use of EdTech solution(s) within the country’s public education system. The incumbent will be a key part of a team working to build evidence and tools that will have a lasting impact on education outcomes in Bangladesh.
Job Description:
Sector Leadership & Advisory
Provide strategic and technical leadership on education sector challenges, particularly regarding the integration of EdTech solutions in public education.
Advise national and subnational educational authorities on the design, implementation, and evaluation of education policies and programs.
Facilitate the co-development of capacity development frameworks with policymakers and education administrators for evaluating EdTech solutions.
Policy and Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with education policymakers, administrators, and stakeholders at national and regional levels to gather insights, define needs, and prioritize educational goals.
Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Ministry of Education) to align project objectives with national education strategies.
Support the development and management of a community of practice for knowledge sharing around the use of EdTech in public education.
Framework Development & Implementation:
Co-design comprehensive frameworks that guide decision-making around the evaluation and integration of EdTech within the primary and secondary education systems.
Lead the process of testing and iterating on these frameworks with stakeholders, ensuring their effectiveness and scalability.
Research & Data Analysis:
Lead research efforts to produce evidence on current educational needs, priorities, and practices.
Oversee the creation of user-friendly datasets that can support policymakers and education administrators in making data-driven decisions.
Conduct evaluations of EdTech products to assess their effectiveness, usability, and cost-efficiency for adoption in the public sector.
Capacity Building:
Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and webinars to strengthen the capacity of education administrators in assessing and integrating EdTech solutions.
Provide hands-on support and technical assistance to education authorities in using the developed frameworks and tools.
Project Management:
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
Work closely with the project director and other team members to ensure that project goals are met within the stipulated time and budget.
Coordinate with external consultants, researchers, and EdTech providers as necessary to achieve project outcomes.
