Education:

• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.

• A certificate or training in psychology, social work, counseling, community health, or related fields is required.

• Preference will be given to individuals with a background in child development or nutrition.

Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience in community work, social services, counseling, or health projects is required.

• Experience working with vulnerable populations, including children, adolescents, or people with mental health challenges, will be considered an advantage.

Required Skills:

• Basic computer literacy for record-keeping, reporting, and communication is required.

• Ability to use mobile applications or project tools if required for monitoring and reporting is required.

• Willingness to undergo project-specific training and continuous professional development.

• Flexibility to work in various community settings and adapt to project needs.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bangla.

Job Nature: Fixed Term Contract.

Salary Range: Negotiable based on the experience and skillset of the candidate.

Duty Station: Head Office in Gulshan, Dhaka with occasional field visits as per project needs.

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate, community-based Paraprofessional to support maternal health and early childhood development activities. The role involves respectful engagement with mothers and families, providing structured, community-oriented support, and maintaining accurate records while upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of basic, structured maternal health and early childhood development support activities in community settings.

• Engage empathetically with mothers and children, building trust and ensuring culturally sensitive communication.

• Maintain confidentiality, safe documentation practices, and ethical conduct in all interactions.

• Complete basic reporting/record-keeping using computers and (if needed) mobile applications or project tools.

• Participate in project-specific training and continuous professional development.
