Experience:
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, or related Life Science disciplines.
MBA in Marketing or Management will be an added advantage.
7–10 years of experience in Diagnostics, Medical Equipment, Medical Devices, Laboratory Equipment, or Healthcare Sales.·
Minimum 3 years of team management experience.·
Proven experience in analyzer and reagent sales.
Experience managing distributors and regional sales operations.·
Experience in government tenders and healthcare projects will be highly preferred.
The applicants should have idea in Market Research, Marketing, Sales in the field of medical equipment.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Strong network within hospitals and diagnostic centers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and reporting tools.

Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for achieving regional sales targets and driving business growth for OMC Healthcare's diagnostic and medical equipment portfolio. The role involves leading and developing the regional sales team, managing distributor performance, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, government institutions, and key customers.
The RSM will work closely with the Application and Service teams to ensure successful instrument placement, customer satisfaction, and long-term reagent business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Business Growth
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned territory.
· Drive growth of analyzer placements, reagent sales, and recurring business.
· Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with company objectives.
· Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
· Lead, coach, and develop Sales Executives within the assigned region.
· Set sales targets and performance objectives for team members.
· Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
· Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and results.
3. Distributor Development & Management
· Develop and manage regional distributors.
· Monitor distributor sales performance, inventory, and market coverage.
· Conduct regular distributor business reviews.
· Support distributor recruitment and development where required.
4. Key Account Management
· Develop strong relationships with hospital management, laboratory owners, pathologists, consultants, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
· Support negotiations and closure of strategic opportunities.
· Ensure retention and growth of major accounts within the territory.
5. Project & Tender Development
· Identify and pursue government, private hospital, and laboratory projects.
· Support tender preparation and submission activities.
· Coordinate internal resources to maximise project success.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
· Work closely with Application Specialists to improve lead conversion and instrument utilization.
· Coordinate with Service Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction and uptime.
· Collaborate with Finance regarding collections and credit control.
7. Business Planning & Reporting
· Prepare sales forecasts and territory business plans.
· Monitor sales pipeline and opportunity conversion.
· Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
· Provide regular business performance reports to management.
