Abrar Medical Checkup Centre, a Concern of JSK Group, is one of the leading Wafid (GCC Approved) Medical Checkup Centres in Bangladesh, providing comprehensive medical examination services for overseas employment and general healthcare. With a strong commitment to quality healthcare, accuracy, and patient satisfaction, we are looking for a competent, dedicated, and detail-oriented Ultrasound Report Writer to join our Radiology & Imaging Department.

The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, comprehensive, and professionally formatted ultrasound reports based on the findings of Consultant Radiologists/Sonologists. The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of medical terminology, strong English typing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining the highest standards of medical documentation and patient confidentiality.

Candidates having previous experience in reputed hospitals, diagnostic centres, imaging facilities, or Wafid/GCC-approved medical centres will be given preference.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate, complete, and well-structured ultrasound reports according to the findings provided by Consultant Radiologists and Sonologists.

  • Ensure all reports are free from grammatical, spelling, formatting, and medical terminology errors before finalization.

  • Prepare reports for various ultrasound examinations including Abdomen, Hepatobiliary System, Pelvis, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Breast, Thyroid, Doppler Study, Scrotum, Soft Tissue, Musculoskeletal, KUB, and other ultrasound procedures.

  • Maintain consistency in report formatting and medical documentation standards.

  • Verify patient demographic information before preparing reports to ensure accuracy.

  • Coordinate closely with Consultant Radiologists, Sonologists, Medical Officers, and Front Desk personnel regarding report preparation, corrections, and timely delivery.

  • Edit, update, and finalize reports as instructed by the reporting consultant.

  • Ensure all reports are completed within the prescribed turnaround time while maintaining the highest level of accuracy.

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with all organizational policies regarding medical ethics and data protection.

  • Maintain electronic and printed copies of reports according to organizational policies.

  • Work efficiently using Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), PACS, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or other reporting software.

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of patient reports.

  • Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality assurance policies, and infection prevention guidelines.

  • Assist in departmental audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements whenever necessary.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth patient service and report delivery.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Radiology Department or Management.
