Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, or Economics.

  • MBA or specialized certification in Sales Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development preferred.



Requirements:

Skills Required: General Trade,Marketing and Sales

Additional Requirements:
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in sales capability development, sales excellence, or commercial L&D within FMCG or distribution-led organizations.

  • Strong exposure to General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), and field sales structures.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering sales training programs for frontline sales, supervisors, and managers.

  • Hands-on experience with competency frameworks, skill gap analysis, and performance diagnostics.

  • Experience working closely with Sales, HR, RTM, and Sales Automation teams.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Design and implement end-to-end sales capability development frameworks aligned with business strategy.

  • Identify sales skill gaps through performance data, field observations, and competency assessments.

  • Develop structured training modules covering selling skills, negotiation, execution excellence, distributor management, and leadership.

  • Lead onboarding and continuous learning programs for Sales Officers, Territory Managers, and Area Managers.

  • Partner with Sales Automation teams to embed digital selling tools and SFA capability training.

  • Drive consistent execution of sales standards, routines, and best practices across regions.

  • Measure training effectiveness using KPIs, pre–post assessments, and field performance improvements.

  • Coach and enable first-line managers to act as capability coaches and performance multipliers.

  • Support rollout of new initiatives including RTM changes, new product launches, and incentive plans.

  • Develop and maintain sales playbooks, SOPs, and learning toolkits.

  • Collaborate with HR to align sales capability initiatives with talent development and succession planning.

  • Continuously benchmark industry best practices and upgrade sales excellence models to sustain competitive advantage.
