Responsibilities & Context:
Oversee credit control processes to manage and monitor credit risks effectively.
Assess and manage credit risk through analysis of financial data and credit reports.
Develop and update credit policies and procedures to align with industry standards and regulations.
Manage collections activities to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts.
Generate and analyze reports on key credit metrics for strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in credit management.
Lead and develop a team of credit control professionals to optimize performance and productivity.
Foster relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate effective credit management.
Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional initiatives such as process improvements or system upgrades.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure proactive adaptation of credit policies and strategies.
Perform any tasks assigned by the manager as needed.
