Responsibilities & Context:

Provide leadership in developing, implementing and monitoring compliance strategies, policies and procedures by supervising, guiding, leading and motivating subordinates to achieve continuous improvement and organizational objectives.

Liaised with buyers, auditors and regulatory authorities; managed all compliance audits (WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, BWB, Higg, etc.); and coordinated RSC/Accord inspections and corrective actions to ensure full compliance.

Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plans in response to RSC/Accord findings by coordinating with engineering, production and EHS teams to ensure fire, electrical and structural safety requirements are met; maintain proper documentation and reports; conduct regular internal safety audits and communicate remediation progress to RSC/Accord, buyers and top management.

Ensure factory-wide compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law, ILO conventions and customer Codes of Conduct by driving Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), fostering cross-departmental collaboration and leading sustainability, CSR, and workplace well-being initiatives.

Advise top management on workforce planning, compliance risks and strategic HR decisions. As well as regularly report compliance status, risk areas and audit outcomes to top management and buyers.

Develop a culture of compliance, fairness and continuous improvement within the organization by collaborating with production, admin and other departments to align HR and compliance initiatives.

Oversee payroll, attendance, leave management and benefits administration.

Oversee grievance mechanisms and ensure timely and effective resolution of worker issues.

Conduct high-level risk assessments, internal audits and compliance reviews across units.

Arrange capacity-building and awareness programs for workers, staff and management while leading committee activities (Participation Committee, Safety, Anti-Harassment, WPC, etc.) and ensuring proper documentation.
