∎ Desh Garments Limited
∎ Corporate Profile in Brief: The management of Desh group of companies owning a 100% export oriented woven unit is looking for a Qualified Experienced and highly skilled person who could drive Factory Compliance areas/issues, to be recruited as Manager, Compliance for Chittagong Factory.
∎ Job Location: Chittagong (Kalurghat industrial Zone)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure implementation of buyers' CoC in line with Bangladesh Labor Law and Labor Rule
∎ Ensure the factory always prepared for social audit.
∎ Follow up on CAP and completion the audit finding within the stipulated timeline
∎ Sound knowledge in Higg (social and environment)
∎ Sound knowledge on Amfori BSCI, WRAP.
∎ Strong knowledge of ACCORD and ALLIANCE requirement
∎ Efficient and pleasant communication with buyers
∎ Prompt feedback to buyers quarries
∎ Carry out regular internal compliance audit in the unit and put up recommendations, follow up for implementation and provide reports thereof.
∎ Conduct TNA and provide compliance training to staff as and worker
∎ Strive to achieve continuous improvement and adhere to the best practices of the apparels industries as regards to the compliance.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy and tidy site/floor for unannounced audit.
∎ Preparing and updating all relevant Registers as required by local law and customers' code of conduct.
∎ Must be capable of preparing CAP on findings by Third Party auditor
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have experience in woven factory.
∎ Proven experience as compliance similar capacity.
∎ Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/ products.
∎ Self-confidence to take the initiative to approach potential customers/clients.
∎ In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
∎ Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
∎ Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
∎ An analytical mind able to "see" the complexities of procedures and regulations.
∎ Excellent communication skills.
∎ Work experience in green factory is an added advantage.
∎ Good track record of developing factory environment through internal audit, HSE, WPC, WWA meeting and practices etc.
∎ High level of communication skill with top to bottom level of employees to ensure the improvement of workplace environment.
∎ Hands on experience in implanting and sustaining the standards of top brands, managing audits and CAPs of different 3rd party audits coordination with Department head.
