Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in social science, environmental studies, engineering or other related field is required and a post-graduate degree is an advantage.
∎ Strong experience in partnering with suppliers and facilitating improvements at production units.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and Lead the Team
∎ Oversee capacity building and training programs in Bangladesh which may include onsite visit, researching and identifying appropriate external training partners.
∎ Responsible for monitoring the auditors' performance, the audit report review and the training/alignment of auditors.
∎ Work closely with the team to leverage their support
∎ Supervise and support the Auditing & development team to develop training and best practice material and relevant internal documents
∎ Be directly responsible for CAP management of several suppliers/ factories.
∎ Always report any un-ethical behavior.
∎ Work with 3rd party audit companies in the respected country to make sure they are updated with the audit process.
∎ Support the Compliance director with the customers meeting.
∎ Make sure all audits are done on time without any delays and show a pro active approach.
∎ Perform regular shadow and validation audits
∎ Perform investigation audits and support with challenging audits when needed
∎ Good knowledge and experience in the garment retail , manufacturing or apparel industry
∎ Able to blend aspirational objectives in sustainability with pragmatic, commercial realities of business
∎ Manage complexity
∎ Demonstrate ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
∎ Drive change in the corporate context with ambiguity and complexity
∎ Culturally sensitive and aware
∎ Very good knowledge of health & safety, environmental and labour regulations and customer COC
∎ Strong project management skills and implementation skills
∎ Strong training & facilitation as well as communication skills
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10+ years related experience in social and environmental responsibility
∎ Working experience with the leading brands and handling a regional responsibility.
∎ Working experience in developing the supplier /Factories on sustainable Management system .
