• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation.

• Experience in handling L/C, UPAS, TT, and other banking instruments.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all commercial operations including import & export processes.

• Handle L/C (Letter of Credit), banking documentation, and negotiation.

• Maintain communication with buyers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.

• Ensure timely shipment and compliance with international trade regulations.

• Monitor and control shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL, etc.).

• Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.

• Arrangement of all required documentation and certification for new company formation like new Bond License, VAT Registration Certificate, VAT Exemption Certificate, Import Registration Certificate (IRC), Export Registration Certificate (ERC), Board of Investment Approval, Trade License.

• Determining the requirement of raw materials and procurement of raw materials on due time, compliance with SOPs, Identifying the source, negotiation of price and determining the way of payment.

• Follow up Import & Export related activities, Cash Incentive, In-Bond, Ex-Bond, UP, UD statement with Custom-Bond Register.

• Follow up and Ensure proper compliance in Commercial activities / practices in accordance with new or changing National & International standards, regulations and laws like UCPDC, Import Policy, Export Policy and Guideline for Foreign Exchange Transection, VAT & SD Act, Customs Act etc.

• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and accounts departments.

• Handle customs clearance and logistics activities.

• Stay updated on government policies related to export/import & to maintain good Liaison with the different government authorities.
