10–15 years of experience in garments quality assurance, with at least 5 years in R&D/Development
Deep understanding of buyer requirements and compliance standards
Experience handling Jacket, Hunting, Vest, Woven & Denim products .
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Well knowledge about modern quality concept.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with international buyers
Knowledge of AQL standards and quality inspection systems
Certification in ISO or quality management systems
Strong communication skills in English

Position: Head of Quality Assurance – R&D

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and innovative Head of Quality Assurance (R&D) in the garments sector. The candidate will lead quality assurance strategies within the R&D department, ensuring all product developments meet buyer requirements, international standards, and company quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage quality assurance activities in the R&D department
Ensure all sample development meets buyer specifications and quality standards
Develop and implement QA policies, SOPs, and quality guidelines for new product development
Work closely with design, merchandising, and production teams during product development stages
Conduct risk analysis and pre-production quality planning
Approve samples (fit, size set, PP sample, etc.) before bulk production
Ensure compliance with buyer standards (H&M, Zara, Academy Walmart, etc.)
Monitor fabric, trims, and accessories quality during development
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for sample rejections
Train and develop QA team members in R&D
Coordinate with factories to ensure smooth transition from development to bulk production
