∎ Minimum graduate.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure garments top and bottom (woven) pattern development, grading, adjust shrinkage wise as requirement.
∎ Pattern making and Marker Making in CAD (Lechra/Morgan Software).
∎ Shrinkage/Pattern Grouping, Pattern Corrections/ Balancing/ Adjustment according to the Fit Model.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD, and making hundred percent accurate markers.
∎ Communicate and Coordinate with the associate department and suppliers to reach the best consumption with quality and efficiency.
∎ Support and advise the team/factories to find the best solution to reduce fabric wastage and to achieve maximum fabric use.
∎ Digitizing the patterns (given by the pattern maker), carrying out alterations, adjustments and grading as per instructions, and preparing a mini-marker for the calculation of the material consumption for costing purposes.
∎ Plotting patterns (for sample room requirements), subsequently preparing markers for cutting and sampling in a timely manner to facilitate the sample and cutting processes.
∎ Adhering to buyer's compliance and any other international standards adopted by the company.
∎ Review and understand buyer comments on Pattern & Sample and ensure necessary correction as required by buyer.
∎ Sets priorities in coordination with merchandisers & create a master pattern for each size which within a range of garment sizes, using measurement charts, drafting instruments, CAD computers, and/or grading devise.
∎ Receives sample requisitions from merchandisers and prepares sample development plan based on submission date.
∎ Should be capable enough to understand buyer's comments on all Samples.
∎ Any other job as assigned by the management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working experience with American buyers.
∎ Should have ability to work with team.
∎ Strong decision making and leadership skill.
∎ Proactive and ability to work under tight schedule.
∎ Good knowledge & skills in MS Office package.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English & Bangla.
