Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering
∎ Construction Management and equivalent practical experience
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement company strategies for business.
∎ Actively source for new business opportunities in construction and main contractor spaces
∎ Evaluate bid qualification (bid go/no go) for new tender opportunities
∎ Produce a bid plan and submit pricing suggestions for review and approval
∎ Oversee all aspects of proposal presentation, ensuring commercially sound and compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner
∎ Review tender package requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal
∎ Collaborate with all stakeholders to include all necessary information in the proposal
∎ Identify potential risks and opportunities in the analysis of risks and opportunities register
∎ Organize and track all bid requests and proposal responses in a systematic way
∎ Prepare high quality presentations for both business development and tender submission purpose
∎ Schedule bid review meetings internally and arrange post bid reviews with clients and post contract award
∎ Establish and nurture good rapport with prospective/ existing clients and business partners by providing excellent customer service.
∎ Manage the whole tender process, this include site visits, taking off, pricing with key subcontractor/ suppliers, engagement with consultant, tender clarifications/interviews, and handover meetings to follow colleagues for successful tenders.
∎ Assist in the mobilization of new projects when new project teams are not in place
∎ Have excellent experience in preparing proposals and publishing the same
∎ Evaluate bid specifications and prepared request of proposal.
∎ Provide technical assistance to team members and personnel.
∎ Have deep knowledge in engineering rules and regulations.
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance to company policies
