Job Context:
∎ Salam Steel Concast Re-Rolling Mills Ltd. (SCRM) The leading Manufacturer of MS rebar & Sectional items in the country, is looking for a Manager, Business Development and Technical support for its Corporate Office located at Gulshan, Dhaka; the job requires extensive travel all over the country.
∎ Contribute to the development towards a strong market and customer-centric culture across the country
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the team members across the country and ensure the effectiveness of the entire team.
∎ Prepare regular & scheduled visits and develop relationships with consultants, engineers, architects and other influencers.
∎ Project/ Site visit to ensure conversion & give engineering support from the technical point of view to Individual Home builders and project sites.
∎ To manage the smooth arrangement of Influencer Events & presentations at the Engineers' Meet, IHB event & Mason Event
∎ To arrange Seminar for Govt. Authority, Local & Foreign contractors & Consultant.
∎ To arrange necessary steps to conduct tests in BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET & Other technical universities and institutions.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Should have a strong analysis of competitors' activities,
∎ Analysis of District (City Corporation, Thana) wise all Engineer & Contractors prepared a database.
∎ Segmentation of Engineer and Contractor. Develop strong relationships with all Engineers through regular visits & using Civil Engineering Knowledge to help them in project development.
∎ Have a clear understanding of BDS, ISO, BSTI, ASTM, BS, BNBC, and other standards.
∎ Have sound knowledge of engineering materials especially Reinforcement bar and their application in construction.
∎ Maintain a detailed database for all received complaints with status.
∎ Any other task as and when required by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven track record of achieving conversion targets.
∎ Sense of urgency to succeed and a passion for continuous growth.
∎ Strong analytical ability and reporting skills.
∎ Value-added service through supervision of any prescheduled construction work.
∎ Positive mindset and result driven
∎ Ability to influence and deal with complexity & ambiguity
∎ Demonstrate a can-do attitude with passion and drive for success
∎ Build a strong relationship & keep in touch with customers
∎ Proficient in English & Bengali language;
∎ Positive professional attitude & self-motivated;
∎ Good computer literacy specially in MS Office;
∎ Good communication & negotiation skills,
∎ Passion for innovation & creativity, Teamwork & commitment,
∎ Ensure customer's queries, problems & issues;
∎ Ability to handle stress and pressure,
