Alam’s Ecological Farm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Business Development to join our team In Bikrampur of Munshiganj District. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the visibility and growth of the business across all aspects, particularly financial and operational. You will drive strategic initiatives, identify new market opportunities, and create strategies that increase revenue while ensuring sustainability and growth for Alam Ecological Farm.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth:
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the farm's market reach.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs, and tailor business strategies accordingly.
Lead the development of long-term strategic plans to achieve the company’s growth goals.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the financial aspects of the business development process, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue generation.
Create and oversee financial models to assess the potential profitability of new initiatives and projects.
Work closely with the finance team to ensure financial viability and monitor cash flow related to business development activities.
Brand Development & Marketing:
Increase the visibility of Alam Ecological Farm in the market through innovative marketing strategies.
Develop marketing campaigns that position the farm as a leader in the ecological and sustainable agriculture space.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and industry leaders.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through continuous support, feedback, and improvement initiatives.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue within existing and new markets.
Develop and oversee the sales team to ensure targets are met and opportunities are capitalized on.
Participate in negotiations and contract development for new business ventures.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business development team, ensuring efficient execution of projects.
Ensure all business development activities align with the company’s overall mission and sustainability goals.
Reporting & Analytics:
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and project outcomes.
Analyze data and metrics to track performance, and suggest necessary improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in business development, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in agriculture, sustainability, or environmental sectors.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of sustainable agricultural practices and ecological farming models is an advantage.
Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to business challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and business analytics tools.
