∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have capabilities of leading merchandising team.
∎ Able to handle costing & pricing properly with buyer and buying office.
∎ Must have vast knowledge on TNA, pre cost, post cost, budgeting etc.
∎ Must have capability of team work and follow up from fabrics to export intensively.
∎ Should have strong sourcing capability of fabric and trims when required. Strong skill on monitor supply chain activities.
∎ Analysis and MIS as required by reporting authority/ Management.
∎ Coordinate and strong communication between producers, raw material sourcing, planning, material utilization & other relevant team for smooth production.
∎ On time sample submission of new development.
∎ Maintain relation with buying office and buyer through smooth sample support, ensure quality goods and achieve shipment schedule.
∎ Strong communication and negotiation skills among buying house, logistic team, sample section, suppliers and production house.
∎ Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company's objectives
∎ Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
∎ Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
∎ Any other tasks as assigned by the reporting authority from time to time.
∎ Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in the knit garments industry.
∎ Lead and manage team of merchandising professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
∎ Analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for product development and expansion.
∎ Foster strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
∎ Oversee the entire merchandising process, from product conception to delivery, ensuring quality and timely production.
∎ Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to meet targets.
∎ Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and sales, to align efforts and achieve company goals.
∎ Must be capable of doing accurate costing and budgeting of style / order.
∎ Follow up and organize fabrics / accessories as per requirement and quality for smooth production.
∎ Monitor and coordinate order execution related works with all other relevant departments for timely shipment.
∎ Develop and upgrade merchandising team to ensure Right First Time (RFT) for sampling and other requirements of customer.
∎ Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
∎ Conduct production meetings with the factories and QA team as per the allocated time and follow up with the factories on the progress of the orders.
