Education:

• Proven experience as a Malaysian Cook in a restaurant setting or similar environment.

• Culinary degree or certification from a culinary school is a plus.

• Culinary Skills: Proven experience as a Cook specializing in Malaysian cuisine, with a strong understanding of Malaysian cooking techniques and traditional dishes.

• Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Malaysian spices, ingredients, and cooking methods.

• Creativity: Ability to innovate and develop new dishes while maintaining authenticity in taste and presentation.

• Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

NEPCS has about 400 personnel working in Bangladesh, China and Philippines. Out of these 400 personnel, NEPCS has over 100 qualified and experienced engineers for Power Plants’ O&M Works. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Malaysian Cook to join our culinary team. As a Malaysian Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Malaysian dishes, ensuring they meet our high standards of taste and presentation. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:

• Menu Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of Malaysian dishes such as Nasi Lemak, Rendang, Laksa, Satay, Roti Canai, and others based on our menu specifications and recipes.

• Food Quality: Ensure all dishes are prepared and served according to established recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.

• Ingredient Management: Source and select fresh ingredients, herbs, and spices essential for Malaysian cuisine to ensure authenticity and flavor.

• Kitchen Operations: Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout food preparation and service areas.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely delivery of meals.

• Menu Development: Assist in developing new menu items or adapting existing recipes to meet customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.

• Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining proper hygiene and handling of food at all times.
