Education:

Job Purpose:
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations by leading preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all machinery, utilities, and electrical & mechanical systems. The role will focus on achieving maximum equipment reliability, reducing downtime, improving safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the battery manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans for all production and utility equipment.
- Ensure timely execution of scheduled maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Oversee maintenance of battery manufacturing machinery, mixers, formation equipment, chargers, cutting and assembly lines, ovens, chemical processing equipment, and conveyors.
- Ensure optimal functioning of electrical systems, power distribution panels, generators, substations, PLC systems, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians, engineers, and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with factory safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Support the installation & commissioning of new machines or production lines.
- Participate in automation and improvement projects.
