Job Context:
∎ The food security-focused M&E Help desk Assistant Officer will lead on collecting all Fresh Foods Market beneficiaries` complaints on a day today basis. The M&E-Help desk Assistant Officer will be responsible for documenting daily beneficiary complaints, enter data in appropriate format, registering and computing the daily number of HHDs mobilized, participated and transacted successfully into the data base. You will also play a leading role in resolving each beneficiary`s complaint cases through a thorough analysis on a case by case basis. Complaint cases resolved will be allowed to purchase through a WFP provided DUMMY-SCOPE card, which you will facilitates to each beneficiary.

∎ Contract length: Up to March 31, 2020

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Helpdesk Complaint Mechanism:
∎ Lead and manage the complaint and feedback mechanisms.
∎ Lead on registration of beneficiaries' with their specific complaint cases into the WFP developed complaint registration template.
∎ Assist in resolving beneficiary complaint cases from the master mobilization list and with the help of WFP Help desk team.
∎ Facilitate the use of DUMMY-SCOPE card to enable beneficiaries' whose complaint cases are resolved, to purchase vegetables and protein based foods in the market.
∎ Provide ongoing review on the quality of existing data in the project subject areas, the methods of collecting it and the timeliness of reporting to relevant parties.
∎ Communication and Reporting:
∎ Produce reports complaint cases report and market information on a daily basis
∎ Provide the M&E Officer a daily and weekly report and also assist assigned field Team Leader, Program Manager and other RI staff with information on an ad-hoc basis they may require.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least two (1) years of professional experience in an M&E and or Protection positions responsible for implementing M&E and or protection activities of humanitarian projects.
∎ Minimum 6 months of aid-related NGO experience in Bangladesh
∎ Experience in designing, implementing, and operating project database system, data entry and analysis.
∎ Experience in planning and managing surveys.
∎ Experience in developing and refining data collection tools.
∎ Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
∎ Good knowledge of program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning techniques and practices.
∎ Familiarity with sector specific data collection requirements (familiarity with complaint mechanism and feedback, data entry and analysis; protection and cash or voucher programming, a plus)
∎ Good knowledge and experience regarding gender mainstreaming.
∎ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
∎ Good computer applications skills.
∎ Good organizational skills.
∎ Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
∎ Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Ability to work in diversified environments.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays, Insurance
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
