Job Context:
∎ The Logistics Assistant in Ukhiya works under the supervision of the Logistics Officer in Ukhiya, and directly supports the officer on general Logistics activities i.e. Warehousing, Asset management and Fleet. The positions will also be responsible for covering for the logistics activities for RI`s main hospital COVID19 response when the officer is away. This position requires accountability, flexibility, creative thinking and ability to meet deadlines.
∎ Reporting to: Logistics Officer, Ukhiya Office
∎ Department: Operations
∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support on warehousing management, Assets and Fleet in accordance to donor and RI guidelines
∎ Daily updating of stock cards and bin cards.
∎ Responsible to receiving items for the Hospital and ensure proper storage and stacking of the supplies in the store
∎ Ensure proper filling of the warehouse documentations.
∎ Help in updating of the Hospitals asset register and inventory.
∎ Maintain an up-to-date inventory report, Assets and GIK reports.
∎ Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse facility.
∎ Ensuring that the general security of the warehouse is adhered to
∎ Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 1-2 Years work experience in procurement/supply chain or related field, preferably with NGOs
∎ Able to prioritize, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines.
∎ Able to work independently and within a team.
∎ Diligent in work processes.
∎ Flexible in schedule, attitude and work prioritization.
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google software, particularly Google Drive, Gmail, Google Docs, MS Word and MS Excel. Adobe suite preferred.
∎ Fluency in English & Bangla.
∎ Women are highly recommended to apply.

Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
