Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the following positions from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for General Food Assistance Programme for implementing General Food Assistant Program (GFA) in two new outlets at Modhurchora-02 and Modhurchora-04 camps along with existing two outlets at camp 07 and camp 8W funded by World Food Programme. The duration of this programme at the two new outlets are for two months (January-February) possibility to extend further subject to the approval of donor as well as depending on the availability of fund from Donor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for smooth operation of Total Store & Logistic Management of the Program.
∎ Monitor and delegate assigned tasks by the Programme Manager.
∎ Ensure daily interim control on the issuing of item/material.
∎ Ensure that all items should be received through maintaining GRN (Goods Receive Note) and items should be received through challan.
∎ Solve any discrepancy raised by the inventory/ audit section.
∎ Liaise with Line Maintenance on requirement and placement of outstation stock.
∎ Maintain good housekeeping of the working/ stores area.
∎ Ensure that binned items have no external physical damage and are attached with correct part number, correct physical quantity, serviceable labels and shelf life labels (if applicable) or else, raise SDR.
∎ Monitors the store room temperature as per Quality Assurance requirement and ensure approval/ released items are binned under the correct storage conditions.
∎ The Store & logistic Officer shall be fully accountable to the Programme Manager for all Stores stock control issues and for the security of the Stores both internally and within the associated outside storage area or other locations as appropriate.
∎ Collect Quotation from the vendors
∎ Prepare Work Order on the basis of selected vendor through CS.
∎ Responsible for ensuring all logistics supports Field Offices for smooth operation as per procurement plan.
∎ Responsible for facilitating & managing all sorts of procurements, inventory management, logistics support, training events & workshops materials, ensuring of all office materials/ logistics are in safe and good condition.
∎ Maintaining all kinds of Inventory management and its related Ledger Book
∎ Prepare material In and Out record and various statements.
∎ Prepare monthly consumption and receive statement
∎ Maintain Material Inspection Report
∎ Ensure quality goods Procurement
∎ Monitor and verify all assets are utilized properly
∎ Information dissemination about market
∎ Collect information from different market
∎ Verify markets and pass the correct information to the beneficiaries as well as project team to ensure the best goods with the approved amount.
∎ Documentation and record keeping:
∎ Documentation and record keeping of procurement related data
∎ Responsible for administration delivery of the project.
∎ Responsible for the CODEC- General Food Assistance Programme’s procurement and logistic processes at field and FDMN camp level following organization’s and donor’s procurement policy.
∎ Responsible for Planning on Procurement & logistic delivery of the project.
∎ S/he will be responsible for purchasing all project materials.
∎ Ensure proper documentation and maintain process as per Purchase Requisition Method.
∎ Prepare/assist on resolution, PR, RFQ, CS, PO preparation and keeping all kinds procurement & logistics related documents.
∎ Market survey, sample collection, RFQ shares, Quotation collection with Procurement team.
∎ Have to have ability to conceptualize, innovate and make suitable plan to procure and ensure logistical needs in comparison with different requirements
∎ S/he is responsible for vendors dealing, enlistment and communication.
∎ Collect Quotation from the vendors and prepare Comparative Statement (CS).
∎ Prepare Work Order on the basis of selected vendor(s) through CS.
∎ Assist Procurement Committee in procurement and financial matters to ensure maximize the contribution to the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to communicate in Chittagonian language is a plus.
∎ Minimum 3 years experience in Rohingya Refugee Context Logistics (Transport, vehicle Management, Warehouse Management)
∎ WFP Rapid Response (large scale Hot Meals, In Kind)
∎ Commodity Management and Accounting, Reporting.
∎ Age limits are 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Must have computer Knowledge(MS Office, Excel, Power point, Internet Browsing)
∎ Skill in report writing & communication both English and Bangla
∎ Must have the knowledge of Local language
∎ Ability to communicate in Chittagonian language is a plus.
∎ Minimum 3 years experience in:
∎ Rohingya Refugee Context Logistics (Transport, vehicle Management, Warehouse Management)
∎ WFP Rapid Response (large scale Hot Meals, In Kind)
∎ Commodity Management and Accounting, Reporting.
∎ Large scale Procurement experience in Refugee Context.
