∎ Driving License and physically fit to drive motorcycle.
∎ Additional Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in planning and facilitating field-level events, exhibitions, and exposure visits.
∎ Participate in multi-stakeholder meetings, reviews, and capacity-sharing platforms.
∎ Promote inclusive messaging on livelihood rights of persons with disabilities during day observances and campaigns.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Technical Coordinator, Caritas Bangladesh and CBMG of DIDRM SDC CALL Consortium project or Executive Director of DCF.
∎ Skills and Competencies:
∎ Practical knowledge of inclusive livelihood models, IGA development, and market linkagesStrong facilitation, community engagement, and group formation skills.
∎ Understanding of intersectionality and experience working with persons with disabilities, especially women.
∎ Report writing, documentation, and basic M&E tools proficiency.
∎ Basic IT proficiency (MS Word, Excel); experience in digital data collection tools preferred.
∎ Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas of Koyra and Dacope
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct livelihood needs assessments and market system analysis for targeted SHGs and VSLAs.
∎ Identify suitable income-generating activities (IGAs) for persons with disabilities and ensure feasibility, market demand, and sustainability.
∎ Facilitate and monitor cash and non-cash support distribution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
∎ Design and deliver capacity-building training on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business planning, and basic market linkage strategies.
∎ Support development of business plans for SHG and VSLA members, in coordination with Apex Bodies.
∎ Ensure that women with disabilities, indigenous people, elderly, and marginalized participants are fully included in all livelihood initiatives.
∎ Facilitate accessibility measures and inclusive tools in training, communication, and field activities.
∎ Mobilize SHGs, Apex Bodies, and VSLAs to increase local leadership and ownership in economic empowerment.
∎ Collaborate with local government (e.g., Social Services, Youth Development), vocational institutes, and market actors.
∎ Maintain active coordination with Caritas Bangladesh field staff and CBM technical advisors.
∎ Collect and maintain disaggregated data (by disability, gender, age, group) on all livelihood interventions.
∎ Conduct regular field visits, follow-ups, and post-support evaluations.Document case stories, success narratives, and challenges from SHG and VSLA members.
