Requirements:

∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Ubuntu, CentOS, or Red Hat.
∎ Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting.
∎ Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM.
∎ Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
∎ Knowledge of storage technologies, such as RAID, SAN, and NAS.
∎ Understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures on Linux systems.
∎ Proven work experience as a Linux administrator or in a similar role.
∎ Industry certifications, such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are highly desired.
∎ Strong understanding of server hardware and experience in server management.
∎ Experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet, is a plus.
∎ Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as GCP, AWS, and Azure, is advantageous.
∎ Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix is a plus.
∎ Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Linux administration.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ General administration tasks.
∎ Physical server Linux OS deployment & network troubleshooting, fault troubleshooting, and proxy configuration.
∎ VM installation-deletion, database access grant/revoke/t-shoot; data replication management & cross-operating system device mount.
∎ Ensure monthly configuration backup/status check, and reporting status of all Linux servers.
∎ Daily monitoring of the Linux Servers as per the prescribed checklist as well as web traffic and application monitoring.
∎ Checking and updating patches and applying hot fixes.
∎ Ensuring failover of any sort of running services.
∎ Administer and review system backups to ensure data is correctly backed up; perform system restorations from system backups.
∎ Manage all system accounts, file architecture, and configuration management.
∎ Ensure presence during off-day DC maintenance for the proper shutdown of systems.
∎ Manage disaster recovery procedures and plans for all systems.
∎ Migrating VM BRAC DC to GCP with the collaboration of the GCP team & troubleshooting GCP VM if required.
∎ ERP clearance, VAT, or audit execution process.
∎ Preparing all yearly budget & processing.
∎ Assist and cooperate with the email admin in performing upgrades or migration related activity
