Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Food Preparation & Management from reputed institution;
∎ Culinary School / Certification on HACCP related certificate will be advantage;

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Bakery/ Pastry, Bangladeshi food, Intercontinental
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Bakery (Cake, Biscuit, Bread), Hotel, Restaurant

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist & coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef & Cook of daily food preparation and duties to meet the standard and the quality;
∎ Practical experience in Bangladeshi food/ Cake & Pastry /Bread etc;
∎ Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation;
∎ Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) as guided by the Sous Chef;
∎ Personally, responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils;
∎ Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the proper place;
∎ Consults daily with Sous Chef on the daily requirements, functions and also about any last-minute events;
∎ Serve meals and snacks to employing families and their guests;
∎ Provide support to other kitchen employees with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating;
∎ Peel, wash, trim, and cook vegetables, fish and meats, and bake breads and pastries etc;
∎ Travel with employers to vacation homes to provide meal preparation at those locations as and when required;
∎ Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, preservation and presentation;
∎ Ensure presentation by dressing dishes before served;
∎ Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
∎ Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
∎ Carry out any other duties as required by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The candidate must have a Proven experience as Line Cook;
∎ Excellent physical condition and stamina;
∎ Depth knowledge about kitchen appliances;
∎ Team player;
∎ Comfort with working under pressure, High Stress Tolerance, Quick Lerner;
∎ Mind set to assist to Sous Chef.
