Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food preparation, hygiene, and safety, food handling procedures, and following written instructions
∎ Must be able to read and understand in English and Bengali
∎ Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
∎ Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
∎ Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
∎ Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
∎ Clean and maintain station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation and organizational skills
∎ Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station
∎ Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas
∎ Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Head Chef, Sous Chef or Floor Manager at any time
∎ To appropriately delegate and assist in all tasks delegated within the section
∎ To accurately and calmly give instructions to junior staff during service and assist if necessary in the completion of the instructions
∎ Ability to work in a team environment
∎ Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
∎ Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
∎ Should be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30 kg

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Demonstrate good knife skills
∎ Show interest and knowledge of flavor and food products
∎ Show good practice in working hygienically around food with attention to detail
∎ Possess basic math skills
∎ Experience working within a high volume fast food establishment as Line/ Commis Chef or Cook
