Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree in Law LLB/LLM from any reputed Public University
∎ Must have the Bar Council Membership
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Being well familiar with Subordinate Court, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, District & Sessions Court, High Court Division and Appellate Division of Supreme Court.
∎ Providing legal opinion and legal vetting of charge/legal documents
∎ Assisting his/her senior lawyers, associates and conduct hearing in the court
∎ Drafting/Scrutinizing/Vetting of commercial deeds/documents including inter alia instruments, affidavits, deeds, agreements, contracts, MoU's/indemnity bonds, bank guarantees, consortium and collaboration agreements as well as pleadings
∎ Handling all litigations apart from regulatory ones, vetting the pleadings, monitoring the case status
∎ Doing the proper arrangement of withdrawing the case/suit after receiving the approval from the Management
∎ Reviewing all contacts or any other documentation where the company has committed itself
∎ Anticipating and managing the (legal) risks connected with or resulting from the strategy and operations.
∎ Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal activities
∎ Maintaining good communication with Law Chamber and other stakeholder and the Law Enforcement Agencies and liaison with various Govt. and Non Govt. Organizations
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 5-8 year(s) experience at relevant field
∎ Experience in working in the following area(s): Company Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Labour Law, Land Law, Land and Legal Issues, etc
∎ Experience in Corporate Business
∎ Having the experience in advocating at District & Sessions Court, Dhaka
∎ Drafting different kinds of plaints, complaints, applications, documentation, various kinds of deeds/agreements, legal opinion and other legal documents
∎ Being expert in legal research
∎ Solving problem with ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) provision as per requirement to make commercial dispute resolution easier and less time consuming
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in both Bengali and English.
∎ Typing skills (Computer Literacy) must be good in both Bengali & English
∎ Showing positive work attitude with great enthusiasm, integrity and good presentation skills
∎ Possessing good litigation skills to handle administrative procedures within public authorities
∎ Being capable of working ability independently or as a team as per requirement
∎ Delivering high-quality work under deadlines
