Education:
    • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
    • Master of Law (LLM)
    • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting
  • LLB/LLM with Bachelor degree in Accounting from any reputed university.

Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our Legal Affairs team. This role requires sound knowledge of Legal issues, Labor laws, and land laws of Bangladesh. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities.

  • Manage organization`s overall legal issues, coordinating and corresponding with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Provide appropriate and timely solutions to legal matters, including business contracts, company policies, criminal law, labor law, banking issues, and other relevant legal matters.

  • Drafting and reviewing of legal documents, contracts about business, non-disclosure agreements, tender documents, arbitration, and other legal documents.

  • Handling land-related issues, including land vetting, record of rights, registration process, preparation of title deeds, verification at relevant government offices, and providing clearance for ownership transfer.

  • Physical verification of records with the concerned land office / AC (Land), prepare Bayna Deed, Sales Deed, Mortgage Deed, Power of Attorney, and register the same with the concerned registering authority.

  • Handling land-related legal matters and maintaining liaison with Govt. and Non-Govt. organizations such as Rajuk Office, DC Office, Sub-Registry Office, Tahshil Office, and land dispute court etc.

  • Appearing before Police Station, Court, Tribunal, Ac (Land), Labour Court, Department of Inspection for the project and Establishment on behalf of the Company.

  • Maintains custody of the legal documents of the company and prepares the same as required.

  • Initiating and ensuring timely renewals of various licenses such as Trade license, Fire license, Environmental license, Factory license, IRC and ERC License, BERC License, Membership Certificate, ISO Certificate etc.

  • Any other task that will be assigned by management.
