Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee quality checks in semi-finished production, including classification and extraction processes, ensuring adherence to standards and correct grading.
∎ Monitor OTP production lines for product integrity, manage seasonal staff, ensure proper handling of Green inputs and Packed outputs, and maintain high hygiene standards.
∎ Monitor daily Leaf quality samples, send them for QA testing to meet JTI standards, ensure tests within tolerance limit, and address any quality deviations to maintain semi-finished product standards.
∎ Assist & ensure that all seasonal staff are effectively trained to ensure discipline when conducting Hand Strip and Butted materials.
∎ Ensure accurate blending data in Leaf Point, share production data, assist with data capture, verify blend consistency through system and physical checks, and support training as a backup power user.
∎ Support cross functional team during processing time.
∎ Ensure all EHS requirements are adhered to following the JTI EHS principle and ensure all subordinates are following these minimum standards.
∎ Ensure correct and safe rider safety principles to ensure all safety PPE and training is firmly deployed and adopted by all employees
∎ Assist the Leaf Blending Supervisor with execution of Semi-finished (OTP) and blending duties to achieve required quality and chemistry targets for all packed blends. Ensure that packed blends are uniform and consistent, and that Hand strip and butted quality targets meet required quality expectations. Assist Leaf Blending Supervisor during IG alignment and grade set ups in line with GLQ and LPI requirements.
